Puumala, c'est fini ! / No more Puumala !

Ce week-end était (normalement) le dernier de cette année passé au mökki en construction des parents Ours. Et encore, il fut largement raccourci: au lieu de partir vendredi après-midi, on a pris la voiture samedi très tôt (5h du matin, argh...), et au lieu de revenir dimanche en fin de journée, nous étions déjà de retour samedi en fin d'après-midi. Il faut dire qu'il ne reste plus grand-chose à faire: le premier étage des fondations est terminé, le reste attendra le dégel.

Le but de ce week-end était donc de préparer l'hiver: sortir le bateau du lac en train de geler, protéger le barbecue, rentrer et vider la pompe à eau, trier des déchets, ce genre de choses. En trois heures c'était torché. Et comme personne ne semblait enthousiaste à l'idée de passer une nuit inutile dans un coin où la température descend facilement à -10° en cette saison, on est repartis directement.

J'ai eu à peine le temps de prendre quelques photos hivernales et deux ou trois clichés particulièrement réussi de la petite Aino sous une belle lumière rasante. Je vous les soumets, pour vous faire patienter en attendant un reportage complet sur "Comment construire un mökki depuis le début".

This week-end was our last spent at Bear's family's mökki's construction site. Not even a full week-end: we were supposed to leave on Friday afternoon but we took the car on Saturday early morning (5 am, hard...), and we thought we would be back on Sunday evening but we were home on Saturday late afternoon. That's because there isn't much left to do: the first level of underground construction is ready, the rest of it will wait until the ground unfreezes next spring.

So the goal of this week-end was to have everything ready for this upcoming winter: take the boat out of the freezing lake, protect the barbecue, take inside and empty the water pump, sort garbage, this kind of things. Three hours of work and it was done. Since no one felt really enthusiastic when contemplating an unnecessary night in a place where outside temperature can drop to -10°c at this time of the year, we left immediately.

I hardy had any time to take a few winter pictures and some rather good photos of little Aino under a bright and low sunshine. Here they are, to keep you busy until I have time to submit a full report on how to build a mökki from scratch.
