Uunisaari & Kaivopuisto

Yesterday, when coming back home at 1 am, I met a big hare close to the appartment. It happens quite often, actually. But that one already had almost brown hair, a sign that, in its mind, winter is almost over. And to show how right it is, today was a bright sunny day again; for the second time this week ! Is it a sign that, on this day of equinox, nature switches to positive temperatures, blue sky and spring ? Anyway, it was a perfect day for going for a walk and, maybe for the last time this year, catch in a few pictures the sun reflecting on snow and the frozen sea.

  2. And it wasn't as cold as it looked, honestly. The sun was rather warm. The problem with these pictures is, the sun was very low and in the wrong direction; so either I had beautiful seasides pics facing the sun and therefore turning greyish or super-white, or I had beautifully lighted and colored pictures, with only buildings and trees. The snow and the ice have been there for weeks and are now fast melting, spring is really on its way !

  3. Amazing pictures once again! I like very much the hidden sun pictures and the ducks.

True that sun has been quite warm these days but look at the forecast and you'll see that it's not spring yet... unfortunately!
